Dual Battery Controller, Page 1

This is the schematic for the dual battery controller. The controller is designed to manage the charging of an auxillary battery in a vehicle. This page shows the battery controller. It works by starting a timer (IC5) when the ignition is on, the starter motor has come on and gone off, and the auxillary batter is present. After the time period elapses the relay drive excites the Solenoid-Control-OUT lead, which switches the batteries together.
